Flesh and Bone.

Tossed and turned in gross
Deception,
Enticing reception for the
Scarred,
Inviting fleshless dissident to
Leave the brain ajar,

If eyeless lay the fleshless,
Then mindless lay the
Soul,
Shattered cranial plate,
Oozing this aching
Hole,

Ripping flesh from
Bone,
Searching bloodless
Radiance,
Just to be left
Alone,

Impure bag of
Blasphemy,
Encouraging spiritual
Entropy,
If only to have the
Eyes to see,

At last decay of
Tyranny,
To find the way
Back home,
Beyond the contempt
In loneliness,
Beyond this fleshy
Tome…
