Heart pounding, pulsing,
spirit set, ready to rush
right in,
War on that other self,
lurking, waiting for
that opening,
Take me down? Not today,
its' only the beginning,
Strategy not for spirit,
untamed, weathered, yet
unbroken,
Heeding, cleaving, to
words yet unspoken,
Shift, dodge, and back
again,
Take me down? Ready to
rush in,
Punch drunk, yet still
I grin,
Hands up, lets' go
