Spaces near, scattered,
clear,
Round-a-bout, sneer,
tempting fear,

Pricks the needle, surfacing,
Adrenal gland engage,
racing,
Tracing, pounding, chasing,

Shot, undone, Latent one,
Sever focus, trashed, they
run,
Which way up, it was
done,

Ashes and blood, skin
broken, crimson
flood,
Life's infused adamant, beauty
in the mud,

Pain, framed in mind, frame
of mind stained,
Strain, alive in a blink of
death, difference trained,

Beneath the surface, flowing,
pumping purpose in crimson
flood,
Pricked, spaces near, scattered
clear, just blood...
