Endless, timeless,
that face unchanged,
Placeless, now, this
yearning raged,

Helpless, this moment,
feelings closing in,
Closing the gap outside,
reaching out within,

'One more lap!' it
cries,
Hand, in mind, held
by the other,
It tries, yearns, give
it another,

End, even in timeless
now,
Hasn't let go, never,
yearning to get back
somehow,

But goodbye comes
too soon,
Walking, distant,
ignoring night and
moon,

Looking back, just
once more,
Wishing, only, to
see that face, once
more...
